1. About Our Service

PropertyTruth provides property transaction data dashboards based on publicly available HM Land Registry Price Paid Data. We transform this government data into easy-to-understand charts and insights for specific UK postcode areas.

2. Account Registration

To purchase dashboards, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep your password secure
• Notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
• Be responsible for all activity under your account

3. Purchases and Payments

Pricing

Each dashboard costs a one-time fee of £5. This gives you permanent access to the dashboard for the postcode and date range you selected at the time of purchase.

Refunds

Due to the digital nature of our product, refunds are generally not provided once a dashboard has been generated. However, if there's a genuine issue with your dashboard (e.g., technical error, no data available for your postcode), please contact us and we'll make it right.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

4. Data and Accuracy

Data Source

All property transaction data comes from HM Land Registry Price Paid Data, which is published under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

Accuracy Disclaimer

While we take care to present data accurately, we rely on government sources and cannot guarantee the data is error-free. Property decisions should not be based solely on our dashboards. Always conduct your own research and consult relevant professionals (surveyors, solicitors, financial advisors) before making property decisions.

Not Financial Advice

PropertyTruth provides data and analysis for informational purposes only. We do not provide financial, legal, or property advice. Our dashboards should be used as one of many tools in your research, not as the sole basis for any decision.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from our site
• Resell or redistribute dashboard data commercially
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt our service

6. Intellectual Property

The PropertyTruth website, branding, and dashboard designs are our property. The underlying property data is from HM Land Registry and is available under the Open Government Licence. You may use your purchased dashboards for personal or business research purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PropertyTruth shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific dashboard in question.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep PropertyTruth available 24/7, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to take the service offline for maintenance or updates. We will try to provide notice of planned downtime where possible.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of PropertyTruth after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
